Great customer service

After receiving the unit I tried it at home and was quite satisfied as it started straight away and I liked the feel and design.
4 months later however as I used it for the first time to run the Dometic air conditioner on my motorhome during a road trip my initial satisfaction turned to dismay. The generator went into overload and cut out. I contacted blue diamond via e.mail and was very professional dealt with. The company suggested that on my return home to Brisbane to drop into their Rocklea branch and speak to the brach Manager by the name of Arron.
It turned out that the fault was entirely of my own making. I had not considered that as soon as I connect 240 volt to my motorhome the gas hot water heater switches automatically to electricity and the generator tries now to run both appliances, thereby overloading it.
I found all blue diamond staff to be very courteous and polite to deal with.
Arron certainly provided me with outstanding customer service

Just arrived yesterday, filled up with oil and petrol, pulled the string and it started on the second go. I was pleased by how quiet it was. Looks pretty good to me. Time will tell

I have run my van microwave and aircon simultaneously. Just had to turn off auto idle. Compared with my cousins honda running aircond, noise output almost identical ( using free dB app on phone) very pleased with this unit.

Ordered this generator on Monday afternoon and it arrived in Horsham, Victoria on Wednesday afternoon. Took it out of the box, filled it with fuel and oil. Started on the second pull and was running my 2000w heater within minutes of it warming up. Very quiet operation and looking forward to using it with the van. This is a very neat package, lightweight and looks good. Seems to be exceptional value at the price.

Fabulous service... package arrived faster from WA to ACT as compared from Melbourne or Sydney. Filled with oil & fuel, started on second pull. Superb. Tested out on caravan and everything worked well. Fantastic. 2 usb ports and 1 12 Volt socket. Very neat.

Haven't used it for a long period as yet but hooked her up to the window rattler in our bedroom and our huge 2 door fridge freezer and ran them both with ease so will do the trick for us with the up coming cyclone season
The hornet is very well constructed and very definitely would recommend it
