In an Australian first, a hydrogen fuel cell generator was used to help power a major film production in Sydney.

Blue Diamond Machinery supplied the EODEV GEH2 Hydrogen Generator to power the unit base and production hub on set. Delivering 100kVA of clean, stable power, the GEH2 met the site’s high energy demands.

The Australian Film and TV industry use a lot of fuel for travel, transport and lighting. Recognising the industry’s ongoing search for methods to reduce their carbon footprint solutions, the client shared their perspective on the role hydrogen fuel cell generators can play on set;
