Required a reliable, power source to operate a lithium crushing plant in the NT

A lithium crushing plant in Northern Territory required a customised generator synchronisation system to complete daily operations.

The Solution

The installation of 5 x CAT generators for synchronisation

Blue Diamond Machinery supplied 5 x highly customised CAT prime power generators - 3 x 650kVA prime power, 2 x 715kVA standby power and a 16,000L fuel tank. The generators were upgraded in-house to run in synchronisation to help push out service intervals. It also leaves critical power redundancies onsite for breakdowns and unforeseen maintenance. Each generator is fitted with upgraded ComAp InteliVision 12Touch & InteliGen GSC-C controllers, air filtration to prevent lithium dust contamination, 4G remote monitoring and an automated refueling system linked to the fuel tank.
